Price data is informational only
Prices on this site come from third-party sources (gold-api.com for spot; COMEX gold futures via Yahoo Finance for charts and history). Headline prices update about once a minute while a page is open, the site is rebuilt several times a day, and prices may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for information only. They are not an offer to buy or sell anything and must not be the sole basis for any transaction. Always confirm live pricing with the other party before you trade.
Stale data
If a data source is unavailable, the site keeps showing the last good data with its original timestamp rather than an empty page or an estimate. Please check the timestamp beside any figure.
Calculator results are estimates
Our calculators apply arithmetic to figures you supply. We cannot see, weigh, test or authenticate your items. Results estimate metal content only. They are not appraisals or offers, and what a buyer pays will differ. Many items are worth more than their melt value, and melting is irreversible.
